Simon moves into the Association for Independent Living (AFIL)
(see
http://www.afildallas.org for more info)

Standing in front of the wall is the
man himself - he is moving in and here
is showing us his favourite T-shirts!
Well, I had to get into the pictures somehow!

This is Simon and me (Brian) in front of the wall.

Behind us, is the training house at AFIL,
in fact you can see one of the trees
and the covered entry as well.

"Granny" (Sharon's mom, Jeanette), just
happens to be carrying a couple of
pans of cookies and cake for everyone
at AFIL to have as desert after
they get back from a Friday
evening meal out.

SMILE...
and this time LOOK at the camera will you?

Part way through the process of moving in.

This is Miss Vivian helping Simon to get
his clothes sorted and put away.

Miss Vivian is one of the staff at AFIL
who have so much patience with
the residents it's just so
good to see.

"Simon ... you fold it like
this and then again, like so,
and THEN you put it away..."
